Make an effort to take your business to your consumers and clients -Retail is a good example here but by no means is this tip limited to retail.
Just because your business is static i.e. you are a shop or restaurant doesn’t mean that all of your transactions have to be done in store.
Do pop up shop events
- Make connections with local event organisers, and be seen at events with your core product range, let people know where they can come and find you in future.
Business Networking events
- Find a group that works for you, and work at it. You get from networking what you put in. Ask the event organisers if you can take products to sell, you don’t have to go and just talk about what you do, show the groups what you do too.
Exhibitions
- Attend exhibitions aimed at your profession or trade
